The 2nd Annual Run for 102 Race to the Finish will kick off on Sunday, May 1 at 3 pm. The Run for 102 Race to the Finish is a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run that travels a course through the beautiful tree lined streets of the Historic District of La Grange. The race is open to the community and supported by a variety of local sponsors and runner registrations with the proceeds benefiting the PTC/PTOs of Barnsdale Road, Congress Park, Cossitt Avenue, Forest Road, Ogden Avenue and Park Junior High Schools. Last year, the inaugural race had 425 runners from district schools and the community and this year's Race to the Finish is expecting much higher numbers.

Please note that online registration will close on midnight Wednesday, April 27. Registration forms can also be submitted during packet pick-up and on Race Day. All registrants will receive a t-shirt if registration is completed by Friday, April 22.
• Register before April 1 to receive the lowest entry fee price.
• Sponsorship and volunteers are both critical elements that make the Run for 102 successful. Platinum ($2,000), gold ($1,000), silver ($500), bronze ($250) and in-kind sponsorship opportunities are available. A completed Sponsorship Form must be received by Friday, April 15.
• At the end of the race, medals are awarded in each school grade and adult age categories. All Fun Run 1-Mile finishers will receive a commemorative medal.

This is a great community event that brings together all of the district schools in a fun environment with DJs providing entertainment before and after the event as well as for those waiting for runners.
