Art Exhibit and Reception at Concordia University Chicago
The Ferguson Art Gallery at Concordia University Chicago is pleased to announce its first exhibition of the academic year, the Alumni and Student Art Show. The exhibit is free and open to the public from Aug. 28 to Oct. 1. A reception with the artists will be held in the gallery on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 2-4 p.m., with an alumni artist talk at 3 p.m.
View an eclectic array of art from current students alongside the work of five Concordia-Chicago art alumni: Molly Miklosz BA ’19 (art educator at Intrinsic Schools and Wendella Sightseeing docent for Chicago architecture boat tours), April Payton Parviz BA ’11 (media and communications director at Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Intersect Arts Center), Christian Rasmussen BA ’18 (photographer specializing in brand-building for Nike, Hoka, Saucony and wedding photography), Cheryl Vargas BA ’18 (owner of Studio 928 and Chicago chapter president of the National Association of Women Business Owners) and Meghan Vasseur BA ’16 (photographer and child group therapist specializing in creative arts/expression therapy at Compass Health Center).
