6th Annual Greater LaGrange YMCA Reindeer Run 5K and Kids Dash
Bring the whole family out to participate in the 6th annual Reindeer Run 5K and Kids Dash Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Brookfield Zoo. This is a wonderful event that supports the YMCA's Special Olympics teams and ends with your family celebrating the holiday season by spending the day at the zoo!
The 5K race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and start near the north gate of the Brookfield Zoo. Bikes and dogs are not allowed in the race. Runners with strollers may participate but must line up and start behind the other runners. The Kids Dash will begin at 9:30 a.m. All participants will receive FREE admission to The Brookfield Zoo. Both mom and Dad want to run? Babysitting will be provided.
Fee is $35 for the Run, if purchased prior to the 5K, and includes a quality, long-sleeved T-shirt, gift bag and entrance to the zoo for the day. Tickets purchased the day of the race are $45. Kids Dash fee is $15 per child and also includes a long-sleeved T-shirt.
