The 2016 Aspire Block Party: Ben-A-Fit 5 recognizes the success and personal growth of an individual with a developmental disability participating in Aspire’s programs. The event was a vision of an Aspire participant, Ben. Despite having Cerebral Palsy, Ben set out to achieve three goals in his life– to live in the community, to work in the emergency medical field and to volunteer for the fire department. With Aspire’s help, Ben has achieved all three goals! To recognize Ben’s success and to promote Aspire’s vision of a community where people of all abilities live, learn and grow together, a committed group of volunteers created this fundraising event.
This year we celebrate the success of Stephen Bustell. With the assistance of the Aspire Careers team, Stephen is now filling an important role as Business Services Clerk at CBRE. Not only is he excelling at his new job, his co-workers will tell you that his presence is changing the culture at CBRE.
