After all that our teachers and administrators have been through the past 16 months -- this event will be a great kick off to the start of a new school year! In addition\, area businesses are invited to join together and show support in welcoming the new teachers and administrators to our region. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we will be highlighting Willow Springs School District 108 and have two distinguished keynote speakers joining us from AMITA Health.\n\n\n\nDr. Cliff Saper\, Director of Clinical Services for the AMITA Health Behavioral Medicine Service Line and Karen Sadler\, M.A.\, lead teacher for the AMITA Health/Adventist Medical Center\, will discuss how the pandemic affected our students both cognitively and emotionally and will share with teachers an emotional tool kit our students will need this coming academic year. \n\n\n\nThe WSCCI will also give resource bags for all new teachers.
