DESCRIPTION:The Center for Gerontology @ Concordia University Chicago presents:\n\n\n\nDiscover how to Reframe the Conversation about Growing Older!\n\nWed\, Sep 13\, 2023 @ Noon - 1:00 pm CDT on Zoom\n\nRegister here for this free virtual event: https://CUCReframingGrowingOlderSept13.eventbrite.com\n\n PRESENTED BY: The National Center to Reframe Aging\, part of the Gerontological Society of America.\n WHERE: Online via Zoom (link will be sent to all registrants by September 11) \n DESIGNED FOR: Leaders and managers from non-profit\, government\, faith-based\, healthcare and business groups dedicated to creating age-friendly organizations by changing the conversation around growing older and nurturing anti-ageist communities. \n\nThis online session will:\n\n\n Provide an overview of the goals and actions of the National Center to Reframe Aging\n Explore how we can all be part of changing the conversation around aging in Illinois\n Introduce the value of framing communications to better understand aging\n Reveal how your organization can deepen their understanding of reframing aging \n Participants will be eligible to apply for a 4-part advanced online training taking place from Sep 27 to Oct 25\, 2023.\n\nIf selected for advanced training organizations commit to:\n\n\n Identifying 2 people from their organization to complete the training\n Developing a project that begins reframing the conversation around growing older\n Applying for a $2\,500 grant to support their project through the CUC Center for Gerontology\n Receiving technical project assistance from the Center to Reframe Aging and the CUC Center for Gerontology\n Sharing project results\n\nADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPANTS\n\nFollowing the September 13 session\, applications for advanced training will be open until September 20\, 2023.\n\nInterested in advanced training?
